My parents used to buy me toy figurines to play with when I was young. These were cheap figurines in a pack and I guess they were economical and tend to last a long time. So, I used to have a range of figurines from wild animals to soldiers.
As I grew older, these toys became neglected. I still remember seeing my mom packing them up and giving them away to friends and relatives with young kids at home. I didn’t feel any attachment to these toys then. I was too old for them after all.
However, as age catches up, nostalgia sets in. Whenever I pass by a toy store and see similar figurines again, a kind of interest arises within. So, I started buying some on a whim quite some time back. It became a habit for a while but I knew I can’t be spending too much money on such a hobby and I really don’t have too much space for them at home.
Hence, Figurines Toy Talk came into being. It is a way for me to catalogue what is on the market and learn some facts about the figurine in question. It is a good way to gain some knowledge in the process. I hope you like the information here and find this blog valuable.
